================================================ Subject: Re: [ Creed Discuss ] Here's a question From: To: Date: Fri 5 Jul 2002 13:04:43 -0700 ================================================ Jumping into this convo a little late and probably stating the obvious but... If Creed is in fact in the last lap of fulfilling their contract, it's not really that surprising that Wind-up would be investing most of their money into their lead act. After all, as everyone pretty much agrees, if they lose Creed then Wind-up starts from scratch. They'll throw all their efforts into Creed now, nearing the end, to mostly convince them to stay with Wind-up's label. Even though their internet relations have been severed, we may see a lot more drastic changes into their marketing and touring schemes, dealing with the live public rather than their cyber public. And mainly with Creed, which is definitely a shame when they should be dealing with their newcomers. All in all Creed really doesn't have much to lose. They have a backup label and a strong fan base. Wind-up knows that and is terrified probably since they don't have a firm ground to stand on....
